The uses of waterborne polyurethane coatings in graphic arts and flexible packaging markets are offering a wide range of solutions and benefits. Our waterborne polyurethanes can offer excellent binders for overprint varnishes, inks, paper coatings, film coatings, and flexible packaging. They bring excellent physical properties for the waterborne systems, and enhance a product’s appearance and lengthen its lifespan. In addition, they can be used in combination with acrylic emulsions to find just the right balance between cost and performance.

SiwoPUD®-1209, SiwoPUD®-909F, SiwoPUD®-910F & SiwoPUD®-920F

33-35% solid content, NMP and DMAC free. They are all based on polyester. Their film hardness varies from soft to hard, and are both flexible and tough. They dry quickly and have excellent water resistance, abrasion resistance, and resistance to bond. Besides, 920 has excellent sodium hydroxide resistance and hydrolysis resistance, it has better crosslinking degree and chemical resistance.

SiwoPUD®-512H

35% solid content, medium hardness, based on polyether. It exhibits excellent water resistance and hydrolysis resistance.

SiwoPUD®-202

30% solid content, NMP and DMAC free, low hardness, for digital ink jet inks. It is based on polycarbonate and polyester. Its coating surface drying is very slow and its film has soft feel. It exhibits excellent adhesion.

SiwoPUD®-E620 & SiwoPUD®-E625

30% solid content, NMP and DMAC free, based on polyester. The dispersions can be diluted with ethanol, and has good storage stability. Its film has high gloss, excellent water resistance, excellent adhesion on PVC, PET and other film materials. Their biggest feature is that they can be diluted with ethanol to adapt to high-speed printing without changing the original solvent-based ink equipment.
